KeyChoc enrobers are very versatile machines which are equally at home coating chocolates in small confectionery manufacturers or coating biscuits in industrial scale bakeries. They can even be adapted to put a wax coating on cheese!

Our standard enrober belt widths are 400mm, 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm, but as each machine is built to order, we can easily accommodate any special requirements you may have, whether it is a different belt width or a specific height to run smoothly with an existing cooling tunnel.

Here are some of the special features associated with KeyChoc enrobers:

Construction

  • All components are made from stainless steel with the exception of the base, legs and fan housing
  • To clean the vat, chocolate can either be pumped out or drained under gravity
  • KeyChoc enrobers are also available with a removable vat for added convenience

Operation

  • An independent in-feed belt with its own debris tray prevents chocolate from being carried outside the controlled hood environment
  • The main belt speed can be electronically controlled within a range of 0.75 to 10 metres per minute
  • Independently driven chocolate pump with variable speed controller
  • Adjustable height double chocolate curtain with debris filter.
  • Height adjustable hot air fan with variable directional air flow for blowing off excess chocolate.
  • Independently driven detailer bar with variable speed controller

Temperature Regulation

  • An independently pumped closed water heating system with thermostatic control ensures balanced heat transfer into the chocolate
  • Digital probe to monitor chocolate temperature just before the point of use
  • Hood environment temperature regulated by two thermostatically controlled heaters inside the hood
