KeyChoc Fold-Packing Machine
Fold packing is a high quality method of wrapping small uniform rectangular or square shaped chocolates, such as Neapolitans or fudge.
The KeyChoc fold-packer can be set to wrap your product with a single foil/paper wrap or an inner foil/paper with an outer film that can be heat-sealed or glued. The machine is supplied with tooling for your required product size and change parts are available if you require the facility to wrap different sizes.
Features
- Minimum wrap size is 14x14x4mm
- Maximum wrap dimensions are L68mm, W38mm and H20mm (but note that LENGTH + 2xHEIGHT must be less than 90mm)
- Can wrap a chocolate with one or two films simultaneously
- Single layer wrap can be automatically glued, heat-sealed or just folded
- Double layer outer wrap can be glued or heat-sealed
- Maximum speed of 280 packs per minute (depending on size of product)
- Automated print recognition to ensure correct positioning of the print on the wrapped piece
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled with Siemens touch screen control panel
- 415v three phase supply
- Automatic in-feed mechanism
- Product sensor to eliminate empty wrappers
- Paper sensor to stop machine if paper runs out
- Machine body is constructed from cast iron for additional strength
- All bearings and cams are automatically lubricated from an oil sump
Please note that the maximum speed is dependent on the size of the product and in practice will therefore be less than 280 packs/min.
Buying Custom-Built Machinery

Buying Agent Route
With this route, we would act as your “go-between” with our partners and basically handle everything for you. You benefit because, quite simply, you pay the manufacturer for building the machine and you only pay us for the service we provide before and after sales. For example, we will help you with all of the following:
- Finalisation of specification including technical drawings as required
- Communication with selected Chinese partners to obtain proposals and quotation
- Placing of order with full technical specification
- Inspection of machine in China prior to dispatch
- Installation and commissioning of machine at your premises
Direct Route
In some cases, we understand that cost is an absolutely critical element of the package. If you are prepared to manage the sourcing process yourself, then we are happy to put you in direct contact with the relevant manufacturer. We would of course still be available to help you with after-sales service if you required it.

With either route, as we are familiar with the machinery produced by our nominated partners, KeyChoc can provide you with whatever back-up services you need in the future, including servicing, repairs and routine maintenance. If you choose the direct route, KeyChoc can still provide an installation and commissioning service if required.
