KeyChoc Fold-Packing Machine

Fold packing is a high quality method of wrapping small uniform rectangular or square shaped chocolates, such as Neapolitans or fudge.

The KeyChoc fold-packer can be set to wrap your product with a single foil/paper wrap or an inner foil/paper with an outer film that can be heat-sealed or glued. The machine is supplied with tooling for your required product size and change parts are available if you require the facility to wrap different sizes.

Features

  • Minimum wrap size is 14x14x4mm
  • Maximum wrap dimensions are L68mm, W38mm and H20mm (but note that LENGTH + 2xHEIGHT must be less than 90mm)
  • Can wrap a chocolate with one or two films simultaneously
  • Single layer wrap can be automatically glued, heat-sealed or just folded
  • Double layer outer wrap can be glued or heat-sealed
  • Maximum speed of 280 packs per minute (depending on size of product)
  • Automated print recognition to ensure correct positioning of the print on the wrapped piece
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled with Siemens touch screen control panel
  • 415v three phase supply
  • Automatic in-feed mechanism
  • Product sensor to eliminate empty wrappers
  • Paper sensor to stop machine if paper runs out
  • Machine body is constructed from cast iron for additional strength
  • All bearings and cams are automatically lubricated from an oil sump

Please note that the maximum speed is dependent on the size of the product and in practice will therefore be less than 280 packs/min.
